Elliott, named the NHL's Second Star of the Week on Monday after posting a 1.45 goals against average in three St. Louis wins, wasn't tested much in a 15-save performance against an injury-riddled Nashville squad. The Blues will play the Minnesota Wild on Thursday.

Lance Lynn allowed just one run in six innings to help the St. Louis Cardinals to a 5-1 victory over the Cincinnati Reds Tuesday night at Busch Stadium. Lynn (1-0) added 10 strikeouts and allowed just four hits and one walk for St. Louis, which evened this three-game series at one game apiece. Matt Adams gave the Cardinals the lead with a pinch-hit, two-run homer in the sixth inning. The Cardinals and Reds play the finale of their series this afternoon, and you can hear it on KSMO at 12:10.
